Kaiken Ultra Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is a medium-bodied, smooth, and vibrant expression of Mendoza Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced entirely from the deep silt loam soils of Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo. Aged for six months in French oak barrels for 40% of the blend while the rest remained unoaked, this wine beautifully highlights fresh fruit characteristics and smooth tannins, guided by a philosophy of adaptation and excellence.
"Ruby-red in color with bright reflections, the nose perceives intense aromas of mature black fruits such as plums and blackberries, alongside notes of cassis and currants, complemented by subtle spicy hints and touches of tobacco and vanilla. On the palate, it is characterized by its medium-low body and structure, delivering smooth and round tannins that provide a velvety sensation. Its black fruit flavors persist alongside notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee, ending with a long, persistent finish that leaves a pleasant sensation of freshness."
