Description

Score: 91 pts James Suckling

Calle Brandsen Malbec 2023 showcases a classic, approachable Malbec profile from Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, one of Mendoza’s historic zones. Sourced from vineyards located at 950 meters above sea level, this wine reflects a terroir defined by a dry continental climate, strong sun exposure, and silty, fine sandy soils—ideal for achieving balanced ripeness and a straightforward varietal expression.

"A fresh, easy-drinking Malbec with intense red-fruit aromas and a delicate floral touch reminiscent of violets. On the palate it is harmonious, with soft, sweet tannins and a friendly, persistent finish that invites another sip."

A direct, modern wine with no oak aging, crafted to enjoy Malbec in its purest form—everyday, food-friendly, and expressive.
