Magna Montis Altamira Malbec 2024 is an elegant, expressive, and terroir-driven mountain wine sourced from the prestigious, high-altitude vineyards of Paraje Altamira in La Consulta, situated at 1,050 meters above sea level. Crafted by winemaker Martin Dicuzzo, this pure Malbec undergoes a careful aging process of 9 months in used barrels. This mindful approach allows the wine to soften its structure while beautifully respecting the floral typicity, fresh fruit character, and mineral identity of its Uco Valley origins.
"Deep ruby-red in color with vibrant violet highlights, the nose opens with intense floral notes reminiscent of violets, beautifully accompanied by crisp aromas of fresh red and black fruits such as plums and cherries. On the palate, it enters with a friendly and fluid texture, showcasing balanced concentration, elegant, fine-grained tannins, and a refreshing natural acidity. Its finish is clean, long, and remarkably persistent, making it an exceptional partner for traditional gatherings."
