Jardín de Hormigas Meteora Malbec 2022 is the most vibrant and experimental expression from Altos Las Hormigas, born from selected parcels within their certified organic vineyard in Paraje Altamira, at 1,200 meters above sea level. Crafted with minimal intervention and vinified in epoxy-free concrete vats, Meteora represents a new paradigm for Mendoza Malbec: fresh, textured, and deeply saline.
"Bright ruby red with magenta hues, it offers mineral aromas of gunpowder and chalk, along with a palette of blue fruits, raspberry, pomegranate, jarilla, chañar flower, and mandarin peel. On the palate, it is vibrant and saline in texture, with chalky notes and a long, fresh, and persistent finish. An honest, energetic wine that celebrates the biodiversity of Altamira’s terroir."
