Jardín de Hormigas Meteora Malbec 2022 is the most vibrant and experimental expression from Altos Las Hormigas, born from selected parcels within its certified organic vineyard in Paraje Altamira, at 1,200 meters above sea level. Made with minimal intervention and vinified in epoxy-free concrete, Meteora represents a new paradigm for Mendoza Malbec: fresh, textured, and deeply saline.
"Light ruby-red in color with magenta hues, it offers mineral aromas of gunpowder and gypsum, alongside a palette of blue fruits, raspberry, pomegranate, jarilla, chañar blossom, and mandarin peel. On the palate, it is vibrant, with a saline texture, chalky notes, and a long, fresh, persistent finish. An honest, energy-filled wine that celebrates the biodiversity of the Altamira terroir."
