DV Catena Tinto Histórico Malbec Petit Verdot 2022 is a revival of one of the most emblematic wines in the history of the Catena family. Inspired by the red blends created by Don Domingo Catena in the 1930s—considered among the finest wines of Mendoza in the elegant Buenos Aires bistros of the time—this blend recaptures that spirit through a modern interpretation of Mendoza’s terroir.

"Crafted from selected grapes from Paraje Altamira, this blend of 95% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot offers a complex aromatic profile with intense notes of black fruits and flowers, characteristic of the Uco Valley. Petit Verdot contributes subtle spicy nuances that add depth and persistence. On the palate, it is generous and vibrant, with great fruit concentration, smooth tannins, and a long, refined, and fresh finish. A red wine that honors tradition with elegance and character."
